Zeldon Peterson

Zeldon Peterson is an Investigator with VBI. Peterson is an accomplished graduate from Johnson and Wales University Denver, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 2019. Through schooling, he has vast knowledge of the areas of Criminal Courts, Criminal Procedure, Criminal Law, and more.

Before his time as an investigator, Peterson worked as a criminal defense paralegal specializing in reviewing discovery and working with clients. He has worked for multiple private law firms and on an individual contractor basis, handling cases in a variety of counties across Colorado. He has supported attorneys in all types of cases, including multiple First Degree Murder matters.

Although born in Denver, Peterson grew up in Portland, OR, then happily returned to his roots and has called Denver home for the past 6 years.

Peterson is driven to help provide defense to those who do not have equal access to resources in the legal world.

Peterson is approved as an Investigator with the Office Alternate Defense Counsel (OADC), Office of Respondent Parents’ Counsel (ORPC), and the Denver Municipal Public Defender’s Office.
